Project

Casa de Iglesias Church

Location Bowie, MD
Type Adaptive Reuse – Religious Facility

Project Overview

We transformed a 1980s office building into a high-performance religious facility for a growing Spanish congregation. What was once a conventional commercial structure is now reimagined as a vibrant, purpose-built environment that supports worship, community, and holistic well-being.

Execution & Impact

At the heart of the project is a modern 1,500-seat sanctuary designed to elevate the spiritual experience with contemporary architecture and thoughtful detailing.

Surrounding spaces—including a youth church, gymnasium, classrooms, and offices—were crafted to foster connection, learning, and vitality. Lifestyle amenities such as a café and spa further enrich the environment, creating a place where members can gather, recharge, and thrive beyond traditional worship.

This adaptive reuse project exemplifies our ability to breathe new life into aging buildings—delivering a dynamic, multifunctional space that blends faith, community, and modern design into one cohesive vision.
